Today me and mum have made it to the Ashby canal Aboard Narrowboat Olive, we’re going to spend 6 weeks here for the entire summer holidays, with no locks along its 22 miles its the perfect canal for just chilling out. We’ve run out of bread and mayo, so we decide to walk to the local shop and after that we cruise on a lovely summer’s day along the Ashby Canal as I tell you the story of this stunning canal, which has a strange past. It’s only a short cruise today to Hinckley but plenty to see.
