Jonas still to show his cards when the big high long mountain routes start…..the stages so far have not suited his strengths….he is still dangerous and on for win number 3……

Remco and Pog both have one thing in common: They've been treated as infallible golden boys of cycling since they picked up a bike. That sort of upbringing and non-stop coddling tends to foster a certain sense of arrogance and entitlement, and boy does that show in their post stage comments. Waaaah, he didn't stick out his throat so we could more easily slit it. They both had such a huge advantage today, and the fact that no time was lost means that, factually and objectively, Vingegaard did his job better than they did theirs. A tough pill to swallow, it appears.
Jonas was just leaving the hospital 6-8 weeks ago. I thought he rode well today. Tadej attacked a number of times. Each time he was easily brought back and Jonas was there. This looks dicey for Tadej IMO.
He is shooting too many loads. He's gonna be soo tired during the last week.

It is clear today that Jonas is very very very strong! Although Tadej would have dropped him if not for his team mate but that wouldn't be by much.

He's just toying with the peloton. He doesn't even look tired out there. Remco and Jonas look like they are struggling.

I love the way Tadej races. He’s the best of this generation. I don’t think there’s another race in the calendar that Jonas could beat Tadej in. Jonas was saved today by his team mate drafting him back to Tadej. He couldn’t have closed the gap on his own.
Jonas may be able to win a stage in one of the real long climbs but any mid distance end climb and Tadej will ride away by being able push higher watts.
Way to go Tadej ! God speed ! And the only thing that saved jonas was the wrong decision from Tadej not to go for the win with Remco , I guess . Thinking that a rest day will come Tadej could have try full gas after they catch the breakaway . But than again , that would have been a bad day for Roglic and the others . It was amazing how Tadej couldn't drop Jorgenson and vingegaard !!! Remco is in a good shape but visma ? Hmmm … Will see in the mountains .

For those worried about him burning matches, I believe he has an extra-large box full.
It should be exactly opposite, Jonas should have been the one attacking and Pog should have been wheel sucking.

I don 't understand why Pog. wastes strength in such a stage. Why he attacks , with Ving stuck in his wheel as always. I hope he Will not pay it in the future .
