🇨🇴 PART TWO: The Darien Gap is known as the world’s most dangerous jungle. I had heard of the Darien many years ago through National Geographic and it had both fascinated and intimidated me. I knew one day I would have to visit…

When the word Darien started appearing in the news in recent years by way of the migrant crises I decided that now was the time to explore it for myself. And so myself and my good friend @TimmyKarter headed north from Medellin in search of a way across the infamous jungle, avoiding cartel and bandits, injury and tropical diseases, on an adventure with migrants from all over the world where national laws don’t apply. Only the laws of the jungle.

Join us as we enter…the Darien.

  1. Congrats to whoever made it across the border. I don’t think we should just open the US border but if u made it across it’s none of my business and I’m impressed to say the least. Well deserved lol

  2. 22:10 — people are not discarding things because they don't need them. They are discarding them because they have no respect for nature. And what you see in Europe and North America is actually the exact same: in neighborhoods colonized by those people, trash dots the streets and more and more of our cities start to look like the 3rd world.

  3. Очень мощно! Очень прикольно, что тебе пригодился русский в джунглях Южной Америки 😅 я тоже обратил внимание на то, что удобно быть русским в определенных ситуациях

  4. As so many others have said here, you do deserve the highest award the world of documentary journalism can offer, Mr Bald and Timmy. I have watched programs about the horrors people face in their own countries which force them and their families to flee, and face these terrible dangers. My mother was a refugee from a war, in which she would have been imprisoned or killed if she had stayed in her own country, and for the rest of her life, she could never go back. Anyone could become a refugee, I totally understand, as did my mum, that they have no choice, but to escape. ThankYou so much, for risking so much, to show this

  5. Imagine being that guy from Angola or any other one on your way bumming around routine in the camp where a knowsy British YouTuber films you from the back with some commentary on yo life just for the sake of the content. Lol.

  6. Ain't no comfy neighborhood in Central City Phoenix. I can't believe you kept your cool when he gave your tuna away. I would have lost it. It's survival you got to cut the compassion off

  7. It a tough situation for Americans like me as well. You see stuff like this and it absolutely breaks your heart, but at the same time I live in a small town in the southern US and we are being absolutely inundated with illegals. Crime rates going through the roof and feel like everything just gets more and more crowded. At what point does enough illegals come over that we are in the same situations as places like Venezuela where there are no jobs and crime runs rampant. There is just no good options.

  8. Nice to see everyone coming together…. what a brutal trip. You thought you'd be an outcast but in the struggle you were all the same, regardless of language or race.

  9. Not even getting into the politics of immigration but it really does suck seeing that much trash scattered all over the jungle, probably all throughout different trails

And not knowing if or when it’s gonna be cleaned up

  10.
