Something really surprising happened to my feet since wearing barefoot shoes. I’ve worn minimalist and barefoot shoes for the last 5 years and can’t imagine ever going back to wearing “normal” shoes.

    1. as a kid (and sometimes even now) i walked barefoot a lot, i also have barefoot shoes but only wear them during the warm seasons. I have trouble finding shoes that fit, as most of them hurt my toes. recently I went on a hike with parents and brothers and i put on my most comfortable shoes only for my toes to start hurting again. I just took my shoes and socks off and walked the entire thing barefoot. That was in the swiss alpes. There were some patches of snow i couldn't avoid and also some spots were the entire path was covered in pointy rocks. And I was barefoot. Because i preferred it over my shoes. because it hurt less than the shoes. So yeah… it was fun, although i slowed the others down a bit as they sometimes had to wait for me.

    2. The only thing I fear is, the shock my feet would get from jumping from high up while wearing those. But I'm guessing that my feet would eventually be tough enough for the impact after a few months of wearing them…
