It is great news that Moldova wants to join the EU. Currently there is no war in Moldova so NATO needs to take their head out of their ass and extend membership to them immediately. Otherwise Putin will use the same formula he's using in Ukraine to start a war with Moldova and then NATO is going to say well we can't let you join now because you're at war. This is so obvious but NATO seems to be either brain dead or to cowardly or both to do anything.
In June, Kim and Poo10 signed a pact stipulating mutual military assistance if either country is attacked. I believe the N. Koreans will be deployed in Kursk.

About Moldova's vote to join Europe, it's quite interesting to see that Russia used the same kind of strategy than Trump when he tried to steal the 2020 presidential election in USA: claiming victory while all the votes weren't counted. Fortunately, as in USA in 2020, the real results of the vote emerged in Moldova when ALL the votes were taken into account: Putin's plan has just failed like it already failed in USA in 2020. And we can see that Putin is trying the same trick AGAIN in USA for 2024: let's hope that American people have retained the lesson about the russian interference in USA and that they will dump Trump as he is Putin's best tool to destroy USA from within and cut the help for Ukraine.

Really dumb of Moldova to not join EU. EU would pump in a lot of money and with such small population and area it would have an effect fast.
I'm just as disgusted as anyone with the timidity of the US Ukraine policy, but I have to say I think that people have got it very wrong with respect the response to "escalatory" provocations from Russia. The consequences of a Trump election victory outweigh any short term considerations. Responding to drone incursions or taking action over North Korea might very well influence fence-sitters in the US susceptible to Trump's WW3 rhetoric. The North Korean troops may be a political move with that in mind, which the timing would suggest. There are only about 10 days worth at the moment and they are very unlikely to be allowed back into North Korea after seeing the outside World. I doubt we'll be seeing many more of them. South Korea is quite likely to take serious action WRT to Ukraine because a Russian victory will pose an existential threat to them and they have not had the luxury of any post-Soviet "peace dividend". The only possible impediment is their dependence on US help in the event of an attack. I can envisage the US threatening to scale down their commitments to discourage South Korea.

One major issue I can spot is that the USA (under Biden) has only given 31 M1A1 Abrams, 300 Bradleys and 189 Strykers — last year (?) and these have not been replenished for losses — so now down to 15 Abrams, less than 200 Bradleys and 160 Strykers according to Oryx. (Sure the Biden administration has steadily increased the number of M113s to 900, MRAPs to 1000, M1117 to 400 and Humvees to 5000 — but has not replaced / increased the number of heavy tanks and infantry fighting vehicles).
Worse than the US policy, Canada under Liberal PM Trudeau still refuses to give any of its 600 (over six hundred!!!) newest top-of-the-line LAV6 Infantry Fighting Vehicles — instead donating 100 2nd-tier support vehicles (similar capacity to an armoured personnel carrier like the M113).
But worst than Canada, New Zealand under Labour PM Jacinda Ardern in 2022 had surplus Canadian LAV3 Infantry Fighting Vehicles (equal to or superior to the Stryker) — but AFTER the war started decided to sell these to General Pinochet's marine corps in Chile, and refused to donate any to Ukraine.
Australia under Labor PM Albanese was previously in the "worst" category — it had 45 or so Taipan multi-role helicopters Australia decided it didn't want. Ukraine requested the helicopters, to assist with evacuating wounded troops and civilians from the frontline to emergency hospitals. In response the Ukrainian request, the Labor government secretly decided to break them into pieces and bury them in the outback/desert so they can say "we have no available helicopters to donate to Ukraine".
But thanks to the scandal and huge outcry, this meant that when 50 or so M1A1 Abrams heavy tanks were due to be retired from the Australian Army, the government was no longer able to turn them into scrap metal and bury them in the garbage dump — but instead was forced by public pressure to "donate" (however unwillingly) the old tanks to Ukraine.

I want Ukraine to win and liberate their country but I am worried that on this channel the reports are all about "good news" when other pro Ukraine channels are reporting set backs whish are not so good for Ukraine. I find it worrying when I can't be sure which channels are telling the truth and which are gilding the situation out of patriotic support for Ukraine. A headline telling me that Russia is having its worst nightmare in Kursk does not seem to apply to the situation on the ground. I tend to distrust these sort of extreme headlines when they are in line with events but how can they be justified when they don't seem to bear any similarity to events. I hope that things improve for the Ukrainian forces and I really want to see the Russians kicked out but I understand that real war flows back and forth and only comic book wars have our side winning all the time!
I read the article that you pictured named "US to provide $400 million military aid package [List]". The only vehicles listed were M113s. I see the value to Ukraine of M113s. However, I wonder what price tag America puts on each M113. M113s are often scrapped around the world. I hope that the Pentagon is not pricing the M113s that are donated at the same price as Bradleys which would mean that the $400 million in aid was in reality worth much less than $400 million.

What people seem to forget is every time he receives a visit from a high ranking US official it's to bring a different more lethal weapon system with specific instructions on what not to do with it.
