A 30 mile loop around the iconic Wrekin hill in Shropshire. We use some great cycle paths including three disused rail line, the Wellington to Market Drayton Line, The Severn Valley Line and the Coalport Branch Line. We also use some stunning Shropshire lanes as we delve into some of the history and myths that can be found around the Wrekin.

The Severn Valley Line Video that I mention:

    1. I’ve cycled up the Wrekin, but not around it (a local term for ‘round the houses’) – it’s a lovely part of the world, with some great rides. Just watch the climbs, and the odd busy road!

    2. Watched this one start to finish. I grew up in Trench so all very familiar territory. Great video and loved the voiceover. I just bought a DJI NEO for the follow mode on cycling and e-scooters. You might enjoy this as addition to your great footage. Video on my channel. Scott

    3. You live near me I’m in Muxton I usually head north of Muxton into the countryside on my road bike, but this loop is making me want to get a Gravel bike

    4. Great video, nice to hear some very familiar names of places. My Mum grew up in Newport and used to cycle around the lanes between there and Muxton in the 1940s and 1950s. 😎
