    1. afaik, aven after 25% tarmac isn't that effective, it's crazy. I live in a very hilly area with some tremendous slopes, but more than 40% is quite rare where I live, and maybe a bit more than the regular toad bike gears might be necessary. You can try another day Amy!. On the puncture, for someone who loves sports as you, maybe a TPU would be a great idea. The tyres feel softer and you save power.

    2. There is a hill not very far from where I live (also in Wales) and it is only about 500 meters long but holy moly it is steep. Almost has me in tears every time I climb it, which is not often, and I only ever attempt it on my MTB with a whole range of suitable gears. And even then it is only severe stubbornness and the dreadful imagination of me sobbing while having to walk up the hill in defeat that seems to have made me get up the bastard so far 😄

    3. Hi Amy, you talked yourself out of doing that. But may I suggest that you use flat pedals then if/when you stop you can just put your foot down and not fall over. You probably made the wright call in not doing it, so stop being too hard on yourself 😊

    4. I love your dad Amy he is great. Next video, your dad, Kyle & Nige all stranded on a desert island with a tin of baked beans but no can opener 😂👍

    5. You could easily do it but as a local I wouldn't advise doing it this time of year as the leaves on that first bend make it treacherous. Try again in spring

    6. Amy, your dad‘s awesome he done so well perhaps he needs a Pinarello and well done to you if you do come across a steep hill like that again perhaps just where normal trainers so if you do come to a standstill, you will be okay ❤❤

    7. when you were in Harlech, behind where you were standing at the cross road was another hill, equally as demanding, and my parents owned a house at the top over looking the whole of the town and castle to the beach…

    8. Amy! OMG. A success to ride away. In cleats on something like that, if you stall, you fall and you would crash and roll, stuff up yourself and your bike. No trainer. The rides you have done are off the scale. An accomplishment to walk away.

      Dad's a character.

      Stunning day.

    9. Don’t let it get you down that is steep and I no if Kyle was there you wood follow his bum up there lol better to feel safe than stressed out and this time of year the roads are dodgy big respect to you dad. He is bonkers lol 😂😂 love it 🫶🏻🚴👊🏻
