Children in Glasgow are cycling to their school in a big group known as a “bike bus”. There’s a carnival atmosphere but it’s also got a serious point.

    How can you get kids to school safely in a way that’s good for the environment and gives them some exercise too?

    Kids in Scotland are joining together in long convoys known as “bike buses”. Teachers and parents accompany the joyful multitude of cyclists, which pick up children from pre-determined stops along the way.

    1. If you go to a Catholic school like I did, be careful not to chain your bike to any statues of Virgin Mary, like I did, and I got (mock) tried of blasphemy by the Nuns and Headmaster.
