You are in my Birth City Friend. That is the main Strip. The flags are there Celebrating the 80th anniversary the city was liberated from German invasion. You will love Apollonia a/k/a POJAN. Enjoy friend!
Oh man, I was waiting for the river walk. They have a nice path along the river there and they have cleaned the river as well, as before the renovation of the center works the river was polluted and black with oil production waste. The area around Fier is rich in oil. There are oil wells everywhere.
I like the wide sidewalks. But is there a good private hospital in Fier? For early retirees, probably not that important but as you age, yes. Beach is nice to have. I loved Pogrodek. But you have not explored all of Albania so if Pogrodek falls through, you will find something else very nice. I really like the Albanian flag. The people seem warm, like the Italians. The kids are marching but alongside them on the sidewalks, their watchful mothers and grandmothers, parents. It sounds like they are screaming "Jerry" or "Ferry"?
Hey Patrick, always love your videos. We have been considering Albania but now see they are poised to join the EU and Italy is building two immigrant processing centers in Albania. Do you think these two things will have an impact on future life in Albania?
Hey Patrick – Do you know if there is typically alot of rain in Pogradec during November and December? e.g. Daily rains lasting hours or more intermittent Thanks!
Thanks again, Patrick. I'd come across Fier in my real estate research. This really helps to get an idea of the place. Your walking tours actually give a lot of unintended clues. When you pointed out the Shein store, I became curious about Temu availability in the country. It turns out that it is! This takes a big load off of my mind. There are so many things that I'm used to finding online. It's great to know that I won't get cut off from that, if I'm in Albania. It was also great seeing all of those kids on the street. The more I look at these videos, the more I feel that Albania has incredible potential to grow. Thanks again!

I am unconvinced that being impatient is always a weakness. It just depends.😊
