Part 3: First stage of our cycle trip Austria-Czech republic. Between Werfen and Tamsweg lies our first big Alp pass, the Radstädter Tauern Pass (el. 1,738 m or 5,702 ft). I haven’t used my Wizard recumbent bike abroad since the Balkan trip in 2010 so this one was very hard to tackle. Sections above 10% I had to walk. Downhill however was a feast, felt very stable and secure on the Wizard.
