2 weeks in France itinerary:
Stop 1- 📍Dienville, a beautiful village & lake which is perfect to cycle around + watersports
Stop 2- 📍 Lake Annacy, like a village from Frozen, so beautiful! Could’ve stayed here a week! One of the best places in the world for paragliding
Stop 3- 📍Treffort, quiet blue river. Lovely walks with famous bridge & dam
Stop 4- 📍Verdon du Gorge, the best campsites! Located next to a quaint village and 5 minutes from the gorge where you can swim, kayak, pedalo or rent a boat
Stop 5- 📍Nice, the only town we wanted to visit along the south coast of france as it’s beautiful but has history of the old town + great food! Good transport links too (we camped a trainride away from the centre)
Stop 6- 📍Cassis, our favourite spot! On the beach, a lowkey harbour with amazing hikes on the coastline. Could have spent a week here, its like a french version of cornwall!
Stop 7- 📍Luberon, to see the villages on the hills! Roussillon was my favourite as it was quaint and had the mine to walk around but gordes is worth a visit too!
Stop 8-📍Pont d’arc, kayaking down the river with rapids & shoots, to see the famous arc. Option to kayak from 6km to 30km (we did 13km in a tandem).
Stop 9- 📍Spa des Vignes, a treat after all the camping 🤣 €115 euros each for a 2 hour access to the spa and a 50 minute massage!
Stop 10- 📍Parc Asterix, our last stop before our ferry home! SUCH a good theme park but I reccomend fast track (we didn’t get them & only went on 7 rides because of the queues)
