This is a new feature on Drop Shaft, a newly opened trail in Colorado. I rode it and was fine on the first half, but almost bit it on the second half as the corkscrew got steeper and sloped more left to right. I think I took it too high on the second half of the turn and when I tried to turn right and down, I almost went over. Should I have stayed more or less in the middle of the corkscrew or even closer to the inner side?

    1. First half looks like a flat turn, that rises and slows you down.
Second half looks off camber and descending.

I don’t know the answer…I would session it slowly and feel what works and play with it for a while. My instinct is to divide into thirds.
First 1/3 I just take dead straight, come in high and left, apex and as I start to descend end up middle/left
Second 1/3 it starts to descend and I would begin to separate bike/body and go from middle left to middle
Final 1/3 I’m aiming for the outside or left edge of the exit and looking through to pick up that dirt and what looks like a berm just past the underpass.
