I’m looking to get into cycling with the family and saw this 2013 Trek 1.2 alpha for 150$ in my area. The only caveat is the frame is 62 cm. Is this too big for 6’1 maybe 6’2 on a good day, and a 35″ inseam?
Thank-you!

Probably but try it. I’d imagine you’d want a 60cm

By the numbers, it’s a little big. And is that your clothing inseam, or did you measure from the vertex of crotch to the floor. If you’re really leggy, you may get away with it, but you should definitely try it out because the reach could be too long and compromise your riding position even if it’s tall enough.

Newbies worry too much about inseams and seat height. You need to focus on the Reach aspects (Top Tube + Stem) to insure it fits your body type (torso, arm length). Reach has a limited adjustment range, whereas Seat Height is relatively huge in comparison.
