In this episode, I leave Pension RIOKA Calpe and start the day with an unexpected encounter. As I’m getting ready to ride out, a group of young boys (ages 7-10) comes over to chat. The problem? They speak Spanish, and I don’t! After a hilariously confusing exchange, I manage to write down my YouTube channel name on a napkin for them. Were they really interested in the channel, or did they just want to see themselves on camera? Either way, it was a fun and slightly chaotic moment that I managed to capture on film.
After that, I hit the motorway and ride down to Hostal El Perejil, a simple but surprisingly pleasant hotel between Cartagena and Almería. Along the way, I decide to take a detour into the mountains, just to add a bit more excitement to the otherwise straight motorway miles. There’s a nice 3-minute section of pure riding and scenic views, backed by some relaxing music.
Though it’s not the most action-packed episode, it’s all part of the adventure! In the end, my farewell video got corrupted, so I’ve added a little note instead.
