  1. INEOS should have dumped Piddock at the beginning of the year. He spent the year more interested in the MTB at the Olympic than his job with the team. He has been near useless when ever he managed to get to the start line – with one or two early exceptions at the start of the year.

  2. So glad to hear you again Dan, finally got around to checking GCN youtube out. Subbed and liked! Always enjoyed your style of delivery, glad to see you are doing well. See you next week!

  3. Zoe's ride in the Simac has been unreal and deserves ALL the kudos, pure grit – I can't wait to see her and Cat Ferguson race next season (among all the other incredible women also!)

  4. Pogacar is such a dominant player this season (and in previous seasons to be honest) that I can't help but ask. Is he being aided by any sort of performance enhancers that we don't know about or can test for? I'd like to confidently say no to this, but I've been burned before.

  5. However it happens and disregarding whose fault it is, be it a push or a jump, Pidcock needs out of Ineos. It's turning into a messy marriage where both sides are making each other angry and getting snippy, and there isn't really a path back from where they are to him being happy in that team.

  6. the last two defeats on the tour have given him extra strength and motivation. this year he was angry and super motivated. it was simply amazing to see him race with that determination. in 20 years we will still remember his legendary shots, his attacks and the opponents that crumble like stones… his now legendary solo attacks from 100km to go… just wauuu!!
He is racing now for 5-6years and he is already a legend… thanks Tadej, for everything

  7. Sounds like Ineos management need some HR training. Has Pidcock got grounds for constructive dismissal? Toxic workplaces don't get the best from employees.

  8. It's about time the uci started looking seriously into not just pogacar but the UAE team
Under the latest uci scoring , team
    UAE 36831
    Visma lease a bike 20385
    Difference 16446
    Mens UCI score
    Pogacar 11655
    Evenpoel 6072.6
    Difference 5582.4
Come on it doesn't to a nuclear scientist too see UAE are paying extremely good chemist's , it probably won't be proven in my lifetime ! But it was with Armstrong 😊
As for Pidcock it will do ineos a massive favor to off load him and bring stability to the team for 2025

  9. If the management mess at Ineos is not already affecting the whole of the team I should be very, very surprised. It could go some way to explaining why they appear so "lost"

  10. The best place for the Pidcock to go would be EF imo. Would be supported in different disciplines and would like be a leader for big one day races and some grand tours.

  11. I genuinely think Ineos will fold in next year or so, no big signings, staff and riders leaving and they seem to be signing a lot of young talent, on smaller wages, Pidcock will go, Bernal is not who he was sadly, and others have left already, Ineos are so far behind y=ou have to question whether they have given up as they know the end is imminent, Ratcliffe seems to have zero interest in his Cycling team.

  12. Dan Lloyd is pretty much the most analytical and thoughtful commentator on cycling…what Discovery took him off the race comes team for I have no idea…..so glad he’s the main voice on GCN.

  13. I understand that death is not glamorous and it does not make pretty thumbnails however I am sure if Pogi died or one of the other top cyclists you would dedicate a whole show to it. You dismal in reporting and acknowledging the death of Muriel Furrer and now you have failed to report the death of Silvano Janes in the masters category of the World Gravel Championship. GCN its people like you why a lot of people stay out of cycling the pretentiousness and your lack of GF is ruining what is actually a wonderful sport. R.I.P Silvano

  14. Obviously his fans will be happy with the dominance, but it means there’s not much point watching cycling anymore is there? Take Dan’s point about how things can change very quickly. Nevertheless, it definitely takes away much reason to watch a race, if the result is already a given.

  15. Ineos were the tip of the spear 10 years ago, they have now been caught up and surpassed by other teams in the Peloton. They are old school now and don't seam to be able to manage riders who are multi skilled. They just seam to be grand tour focused. Most of the top riders now are in that category with perhaps Vinegaard the only specialist left.
