I use my bike daily for transport and city use

They are working fine with no issues but an expert who owns a local bike shop told me that they are worn and need to be replaced

And he measured the chain with a tool and the measurment was "0.75"

Should i replace them as he says or ignore the whole thing and keep using them?

An expert has measured it and told you that it’s worn out and needs replacing. Yep, I’d go right ahead and ignore them and carry on just asking the internet instead….

The mechanic is correct. at 0.75 chain wear, you’ve sufficiently worn out the chain enough that it will have worn the cassette out too. They both need replacing. If you do it now, you won’t continue to wear your chainrings, and may get more life out of them. If you ignore the sage advice received, you will – at some point – need to replace your entire drivetrain. That is expensive, and avoidable.
