My friend is selling his 2017 Cannondale Supersix Evo Hi-Mod Disc Ultegra, he hasn't given me a price yet but offered to lend it to me for a test ride, and if I like it, we'll discuss numbers. I've put about 100 miles on it so far, including a 20-mile ride with 2800 feet of elevation. The bike felt really comfortable, and I enjoyed the ride overall.

I did notice a minor issue (sometimes) in the lowest gear where the chain didn't always fall into place smoothly. He also mentioned he could throw in a power meter that doesn’t fit his new bike.

I’ll be using the bike for rides with a lot of elevation and am planning to target a 100-mile ride next year with plenty of climbs and descents. The type of rides I’m interested in are more endurance-focused, but I think this bike is classified as a race bike. Is this a good choice for the kind of riding I want to do?

Also if I decide to do endurance rides in this bike, does the crank set need to be changed to focus on endurance? I've read it's a different gear ratio for endurance focused bikes.

Also, what do you think this bike is worth? And please let me know if it needs any upgrades.

Nice bike and would recommend the power meter as well. As for value… maybe $1100 USD with power meter or $800 without. The wheels are pretty basic and would be worth upgrading along with wider tyres. I’d recommend getting the power meter with it as it’s a pretty good one.
