Hi, I’m Asad from Hamburg. In July 2022, I left my flat, family, and friends behind and set off on my very first cycling trip.
For the first few weeks, my wife Marie-Lise and I rode up to Scandinavia separately (@freiradeln). For the next few years, we want to explore the world together on our bikes and be as free as possible.

For me, freedom includes being allowed/able to work. Especially when, from where, and for how long I want. I’m curious to see if and how I can combine working with cycling, filming, and editing videos.

    In this episode, …

    By the way:
    – On my 4 major backpacking trips so far, I have only taken photos (and always only in auto-mode). I don’t really know anything about good pictures and videos, so I still want and need to learn a lot here. With time, the quality of the videos should hopefully improve 🙂 Have fun watching!
    – With my wife, I have a YouTube channel in German as well (@freiradeln). Since there are a lot of German and English-speaking cyclists on YouTube I wanted to do something for my Urdu and Hindi-speaking community. Especially for them and my family, I am doing this channel in Urdu / Hindi.

    1. To reduce the condensation inside the tent, I use a technique learnt from my grandfather decades ago. I’m almost 60, so this is a time tested method. Depending on the tent material and local weather conditions, you will have to tweak it a little to optimise the results. Have a few pouches of silica gel (about 10 to 20 grams each)hung on the inside of the top of the tent. These will absorb your body and breath moisture and reduce condensation. Also keep the vent open, whenever weather permits. Not only does it give you more oxygen when sleeping so you wake up feeling fresh, but you also have less condensation. The last is to use a small fan as an exhaust fan, which for me is the most efficient way (especially when the weather is complacent. Do try it out and see for yourself. Most stuff will be available on Amazon. All the best for your journey and videos ahead.

    2. Brother Keep uploading new videos, so our interest in the channel will stay alive, waiting since many days , but no new upload since , to be very honest 😉love your videos, you are improving every day, keep it up 👍 and best of luck for your journey..
