Supposedly 1995 Multitrack here, converted to how I need my bikes to be 😉 These are Smart Sam 1,75″ set up tubeless on R460 rims with 18mm inner rim width. In the front there is literally no space left and right (on the left a bit, because the wheel is not perfectly centered) an about 4mm to the head tube. In the back, there is around 4-5mm clearance except for the brake cable. It was rubbing on the tire so I had to tie it up with a cable tie (5). The screw of the original STX front derailleur was getting very close too (3), so I replaced it with a Tiagra which gives more space (4).
The only part that remain from the original bike how I bought it (last image) is the rear derailleur which works very nicely. I put on the Sensah Reflex brifters I had laying around. Solid and very budgetery 2×8 solution! Replacement hoods are on the way, the original Sensah hoods are crap.
All in all I spend 120€ for the frame, which was in great condition! It was only used for some sunday rides untill I picked it up. I spend 26€ on the tires, around the same amount on the brakes, 11€ on the bar tape, 10€ on the Muqzi stem adapter (it seems good quality although its really light, I’m a bit sceptical on how much abuse this one can take) and 30€ on the drop bar (Ritchey Streem 38mm). Everything else I had laying around or “borrowed” from my other bike.
I’m really happy with it. The ride feel on gravel is just amazing. Not comparable to my beloved Koga Miyata Globe Traveller, which is build up in a similar way. But it is aluminium frame with steel fork. I’m only a bit scared that in no time, the frame will look really bad, that’s why I put the electric tape around the most vulnerable areas.

That’s looks sweet. How does it ride? Do the tires run at all?
Nice! Love your dedication to maxing out the tire clearance, like you mentioned in another comment it’ll be great for everything but the muddy stuff! Pictures of your Koga Miyata?

Really nice build! Is the saddle fully forward a consequence of only having a longish stem available, or do you prefer it like that?

What back rack is that?
Wow. Nice job.
Is it mandatory to take a photo in front of the logs? [Yes[1]](https://i.ibb.co/J7XrKmq/PXL-20220612-183839073.jpg). [Yes[2], it is](https://i.ibb.co/HgpyP3B/PXL-20230701-111108167.jpg).
