Got some new wheels with velocity ailerons to mack superlights. So far, they seem great. The archetypes to gran compe SF I had previously had a hard time staying true after a crash a few years ago, so I had to say goodbye to them…
I also found a Tioga T-bone stem and put some bontrager ergo bars on. I had the bontrager bars for a while now, but didn’t want to damage an AL stem while mounting them, so the t-bone was a necessity. And I also found a black ultegra 6600 seatpost, so I had to get it, even if it was unnecessary…
I’m also giving TPU tubes a try, and they’re really worth it. Riding with them the first time was comparable to riding gp5000 for the first time after riding gatorskins for years. They’re about the same price as butyl tubes, but they make a huge difference. I can’t recommend them enough right now.
