My city has some* rough roads, with occasional sharp debris. Any recommendations for a tire that’s smooth/fast but very durable. I’ve been rocking the Vittoria corsa G2 and I love them sm, but they might be a little too soft. I’ll probably need to replace them soon, after only a couple months of riding.
(I do have dual foot retention, this is an older photo)

I have sworn by Gatorskins and ride 25c but I too have been wanting to try something else. Haven’t had any problems and love them but haven’t really tried many different.
You get good durability with the Gator on my Kilo, but I wish they were more supple. I find they are a surprisingly rough ride. When the pavement is wet, Gators are all over the place. I ride Conti Ultra Sports on my Sputnik. Less rolling resistance, $20 a piece, decent grip, but about the same flat protection as a GP 5 k. I get about 2-3 k miles on them.
Panaracer T-serv is one of my favorites, especially for nasty fall/winter urban roads.
Rubber ones
Continental GP4K All Season or Panaracer RiBMo would be good choices
I replaced my 28mm Gatorskins with 28mm Panaracer Gravelking Slicks and so far I find them to be much nicer, better rolling resistance and better in the rain. No issues with flats so far. I live in Dublin Ireland which has pretty crappy road surfaces in a lot of places, plenty of broken glass and so on.
28 continental ultrasports.
Same or very similiar tire durability with some added grip / softness i find.
Plus it was $40 for a folding ultra instead of $80 that i pay for beaded gators
Wider tyres make the biggest difference for comfort
Schwable Marathon plus, pair of slime tubes. Not had a puncture for nearly 5 years going across London almost every day. Side note, checking the tube pressure every week I think is key though.
