We spent 7 days cruising around the Caribbean taking in that cisp sea breaze, the tropical, sun-kissed vistas, and the Fantasy’s myriad of entertainment option from pools, to shows, to all inclusive dining.

This review will give you the low down, of this high cost, but high end, luxious floating hotel.

Is it worth it? Is it good value for money? What do you get for that premium price tag? Does Mickey Mouse personally make your bed? We’ll answer most of these questions and hopefully give you a better idea of what it’s like to set sail with Disney Cruise Line.

    1. Well you certainly had a busy vacation this year.
When we went to Disney World, I felt I needed a vacation to get over the vacation.

    2. This is great! We r sailing in May!
      – Jamaica – I heard it was sketchy, was trying to decide if we should do an excursion or not or just stay on ship …. Thoughts?

    3. great video love the accent..we americans do things different i know..who says motorcoach..if we have late flight like 5pm can we get late bfast time we have early dining each nite..i heard had to do early bfast on disembark day..i hope not may have to go to cabanas really try to avoid the buffet ..its people soup

    4. We think you covered everything beautifully. We have sailed on the Fantasy three times have enjoyed your tour, it brings back a lot of terrific memories. Keep up the good work.

    5. Great video! So informative. My brother and sister in law were your dining buddies, and came back raving about the cruise entirely. We are all going as a family in December and so excited.

    6. We are Gold members with DCL. We adore the Wonder and Magic and tend to stick with these smaller ships. We sail for the first time on the Fantasy on Saturday for a week long cruise to the Eastern Caribbean. We took a member cruise on the Dream in 2014 and were not overly impressed (very noisy in dining room (2nd seating) and too many people. It was a shock to my system. I’m better prepared now for the larger ship. This is our 30th wedding anniversary cruise so we are looking forward to a relaxing and enjoying ourselves.

    7. I assume all the footage where it’s hot and beautiful are from the Dream, and all the footage where it’s cloudy and windy are from the Fantasy.

    8. We’re booked on the Fantasy for 2025. Loved the video.
Did you use Preludes? Is there anywhere to see what items from there or the fancy coffees/drinks cost?
Will be our first ever cruise so have no idea currently, and as we normally do a Disneyland Paris holiday every year, we do like to prepare and plan.

    9. We are doing this same cruise this November and I appreciate the honesty about the ports of call. We've been on the Wish and Magic so we are very much looking forward to spending 7 days on the Fantasy. And I love your sarcasm, you and my wife could be related, except we aren't British. 🙂
