It's got alot of scratches but I don't really mind it that much. Also how do you make sure if the shifting works properly or not I've never owned a road bike and don't know much about it but I've always wanted one. Is this a good price?
I would pass, its about 10 years old, it’s a nice frame but with lower end components that look to be in terrible shape, I would think you could find something nicer on CL for that price

On first view this could be a great find, if it was in good condition. Unfortunately it seems to be in bad shape. It has two different shifters – right side has black lever and left (most likely the original) is silver. Handle bar tape is shredded but an easy replacement. I’d we a bit worried about the rest of drive train components though.
