This is based on a presentation I gave at the Hare Krishna Gurukul School near Watford, UK. I was asked to talk about ‘the Stone Age’, specifically how it appears to contradict the Indian epics such as the Mahabharata, Ramayan and Puranic scriptures.
I mention points to consider when looking at human pre-history, which invites open-mindedness to the much longer presence of ‘modern humans’ on the earth – – at least in some parts of the world.

Hare Krishna Prabhuji🙏..I have a question that what is there in our scriptures about dinosaurs?? What is the origin of dinosaurs according to Hindu scriptures? And what is the point in the end of dinosaurs and why?
I feel that intelligent civilized creatures always existed on this planet and they don't necessarily have to be fully human. Also most scientists forget that humans in sophisticated areas used to burn their dead which was common in all ancient civilizations and not just in India. I also think that human species like neanderthals are actually vanars since forest dwellers used to be of many kinds and all of them had monkey like faces as per Ramayan. And all civilizations in the past ended horribly and humans always had to start from scratch which explains the stone age.
