Cross>gravel
I have a FS MTB and an hybrid βE-Gravelβ bike.. Both have their purpose and Iβm a hell of a lot faster on the gravel bike pending the terrain is flowy enough.
Gravel bikesβ¦MTBs with hoop handle bars π€
I broke my collarbone on a gravel bike after going of a huge jump
They used to be called cyclo cross in the 80 s
It's the cat croc king himself!
Can't help to think that hard tails exist… and can do anything (even "gravel"). if you consider the gravel bike to do everything send it in bike park wales π
MTBs suck for long distance riding and road bikes suck on mud, gravel, big hills.. Gravel bike with a 0.7 gear ratio is the boss..
The only thing I hate about gravel bikes are people who compare gravel bikes to MTBs. All bikes have their place. What ever your preference is just have fun and don't gatekeep!
Your fork be likeπ€’
Pretty much a early 90s mtb
With even thinner tires
Iβm still gonna stick with the fact that theyβre silly bikes that nobody really needs now that road bike dropouts are getting wider and wider.
In time the gravel bike will fade away Iβm sure.
The kind of terrain that theyβre faster than anything on is very limited in consistency, especially in the uk.
Jack of everything, master of none.
90s MTB with drops. Tomac style π΄ββοΈπ₯π₯π₯
A Gravel bike and a full sus as your two bikes is perfect. Pretty much covers any sort of bike riding you want to do.
i am a huge biker and you will never catch me wearing these pathetic spandex getups are you kidding me
He's Not wrong. That's tarmac.
Just ride a mountain bike… ππ
Todays gravel bikes were the 90s early 2000s mtb. The geometry can shred.
My mountain bike goes everywhere as well.
Maturing as a cyclist: 1. A bit tame! 2. Thank god for tarmac!
A gravel bike can NOT do anything. π
MTBs are the do-it-all bikes.
Every bike has its place. βοΈ
If you have a hard tail i don't see the need for a gravel bike. And a hard tail will actually ride wwll off the roads too.
