I recently bought a Speedmax and this is my first experience with a SRAM groupset. I've noticed something unusual: when I freewheel the pedals, the wheel spins backward quite quickly. I'm used to Shimano components, where backpedaling is smoother and the wheel doesn't spin as much.
Is this normal for SRAM hubs? Or could there be an issue with the drive unit installation?

So what? It’s not happening with the bike is on the ground. Don’t pedal backwards. Problem solved.
Also if this is a new freehub this is not uncommon. Grease in the pawls not loosened up and distributed properly.
