Bicycles are illegal in Greece 🇬🇷

This Greek island has strictly outlawed bicycles 🇬🇷 To protect the natural beauty and cobbled streets of Hydra, vehicles are strictly banned right across the island. It’s a controversial move but since most things are in walking distance, it doesn’t really inconvenience the residents, and makes for an incredibly peaceful atmosphere. I’m not sure l’d personally want to live somewhere where bikes are forbidden, but from a visitor perspective, I loved it 🫶🏼 #greekisland #greekislands #greece
