Falls got to be one of the best times to be in the saddle
Building up and riding this Polyvalent has been a highlight of this year, really pleased with the ~40yo Shimano Arabesque RD and levers. Was new to friction at the time but don’t think I’ll be going back.
The bike and the shifters look friggin beautiful. I recently tried the old downtube shifters, I picked up some old suntours but I found them kind of annoying to use, ended up switching to some xt friction thumbies

Absolutely love this build. I have the green Polyvalent but use it for bikepacking so downtube shifters weren’t really an option. They certainly make it look clean

Wow! You’ve got a good fall season. Our trees went from green to nearly brown. Not much color this year. Just 50 miles away and it is comparable to your area.
Nice choice of parts. Not a fan of wire cage bottle racks, but with your choice of other components, definitely right for your bike. Everything fits right in visually nice. Hope it rides as nicely.
