Looking to purchase a second hand brompton and I would like some help in determining how old is this one. The seller asks for 700€ for it. Is is worth it? Thank you in advance
If the stickers and build plaque have been removed so there’s no way of confirming the build date. I’d ask for a photo of the back of the seat post to get that first. I’d also be concerned it was previously stolen if the serial number is gone.
It looks like an 2016-2020 M3L I just paid €830 for a very similar bike.

This is a pre 2013 bike, you can see it by the old style M stem and “rabbit” shifters. It does have a dynamo hub, the older version.
It’s not expensive, just look out for the frame crack where the seat post sleeve is, the triangle and fork rust.
If you’re tight on budgets this will do, I do recommend a newer model, post 2016 ideally.
