So recently this piece broke in my bike I purchased from a friend at the beginning of the year (first pic). I’m wondering if it’s possibly to swap the piece out with on from another bike (Second pic). And how would I do it?
Before anyone says anything in a bit of a noob when it comes to bike maintenance, don’t judge. Thanks in advance.

Seems like an easy shape to match.
Can’t swap because the shape of the hangar is different.
