I rode with Juliet in her local hills of Dartmoor back in the summer, and said I would return the favour with a trip to my BELOVED Yorkshire Dales. But… didn’t get off to the best start 😆

    1. Fun fact about the Ribblehead Viaduct!…Every 6th Pillar along is 50% thicker than the rest. It was designed like this on purpose so that if any of the narrower ones collapse, the railway is still supported above!

    2. A few months ago, I bought 1 liter of sealant and a pack of plugs. Then decided that I would instead put inner tubes in my tires. I prefer to spend some time changing a tire than having to deal with leaks and all the liquid everywhere. BTW, I got cheap Chinese TPU tubes, the weight is probably similar to the weight you get with the sealant you would put in tubeless tires.

    3. Oh no 😱 … the sun's comin' out … too funny! Can't top riding in your happy place! Beautiful skies to compliment that fantastic landscape … well done capturing them fine views and ta very much. 🚴‍♀🐑⛰🙂

    4. Two lovely lively women doing things that make me happy 😊 Thank you 👍
Looking forward for the next adventure 🤗
What about the peak District around Wildboarclough 🤔
      Again thank you 😁

    5. Awesome to see you two so happy. Slight slurring ?
Someone's had a "slurp" out of Juliet's whisky stash 😁
      2025 Tour de Dales ?
Better make sure there's a fully equipped support Custom Transit full of Juliet's spares !
Have a brilliant day you two
      & Katie…
      🎵 Stop crying your heart
      out 🎵 😭

    6. 🤣You guys are hilarious, love it! Even though y'all had ALL the mechanicals, it appears y'all had SO much fun! As always, thanks for providing GREAT content – have fun & be safe 🍻

    7. Always love you two together. My derailleurs are still mechanical. My tires still get tubes (TPU) and my brakes are still clincher mechanical. I rarely ever have any issues and if I do, I can easily make an adjustment or repair and be back on the bike quickly. New isn't always turn out to be better and at least a half dozen times I've come across someone that has had a breakdown and no way to fix their issue on the side of the road.

    8. Always a great video hen you guys get together …. I ride dartmoor but Yorkshire is on next year's to do list…. keep making great videos Katie

    9. I have to say that the road surfaces up there in the Dales are stunning. Very different (positively) to the wheel-destroying roads we have here in Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire.

    10. Happy ladies riding their bikes (eventually). Hopefully when fit,I’ll get to the dales to see why Katie raves about the place. Good to see that big grin on her face, on a grey day.

    11. 👎electronic shifting and tubeless tires! Those battery operated pumps work very well especially if you charge them once in a while! 😂 Looks like a beautiful ride!

    12. Yeah the Dales are stunning!
The last time i saw that viaduct it was a bit more painful though!
      Doing the 3 Peaks CX!
Will have to ride it next time at a more comfortable pace!
      👍

    13. How spooky… my cycling journey began 4 years ago when I started to watch both your regular videos as motivation to get fit… and here you both are sharing the screen together. How fab!

    14. Hawes really needs a Co-op! Whenever I ventured out that way the Spar closes at what 6pm I think!? I just end up at the Pizza place… but that's hardly a great spot for a camp resupply and Horton in Ribblesdale is equally annoyed. 12:19 – I wild camped on that hill at the Ribblehead Viaduct this Summer… don't bother unless you love midges!

    15. Great video Katie of a great place. I'm a Yorkshire lass, and never been to Ribblesdale!😯. Its now on the list. Had a crap day but the video of you two again lifted my spirits. Thankyou!❤

    16. This is the third video I've seen where Juliet's wireless group set didn't work. Ditch the wireless group sets – they are shite! That viaduct was stunning!

    17. Thank you so much for another great video. I look forward to your videos. Watching them give me so much joy. I love the cycling. I love the scenery. Most of all I love your personality. If a fairy godmother told me I could be whatever I wanted to be at the wave of her magic wand, I would tell her I wanted to be Katie's friend. I can't imagine anything better. You are so very sweet, so very kind. So very interesting. So much fun. I am so envious of your friends. Thank you so much for sharing yourself with the world in these videos.

    18. Is Fleetwood moss from the south not count as a major climb? I cycle in a lot of these places regularly over the years, wharfedale in particular, but have only been up Fleetwood moss twice, and never Park Rash (though that is not so much the climb and more about committing to doing a really big loop and what if i have a mechanical 50 miles from home, and worry)
