    1. Thanks for another great review Shane. I'm tempted to swap my Neo 2T for one for all the extra features. Will there be any significant drop in road feel if I make the switch? The Neo has a little bit of sway left to right, is the Victory rigid? Cheers 🙂

    2. I suffered from Bluetooth so bad on my last trainer the company agreed to take it back and give me a full refund. I was terrified of buying another trainer. The WIFI option has me sold. Giddy Up !!!!!

    3. Too bad it doesn't come with the frame like the Zwift Ride. And also, too bad it only supports Zwift. I wish the virtual shifting was part of the smart trainer protocol and not Zwift specific. I want to be able to use Rouvy.

    4. I almost wish my Wahoo Kickr Snap wasn't working so well so I'd have an excuse to buy this. The great thing is, if this thing catches on like it should, it'll force the big companies to follow suit and start making affordable trainers, as opposed to the severely overpriced trainers out there now.

    5. The only thing the review didn’t cover I guess was how it feels. Wahoo have made a big deal about fly wheel weight using it as part of the improved value between the core and kickr for example. Given the fly wheel weight is less on this than the core is this one area you would recommend a core over this or is it so slight you don’t really notice it? Thanks for the great review

    6. Great review as ever Shane. A real shame though that Jet-black have gone back on their initial EU pricing for this unit. A €50 increase from nowhere. When you take conversion between US and EU pricing into account it results in this trainer costing those in EU almost $150/€140 greater in total. C'mon Jet-black, you can surely do better 🤷🏻

    7. Damn, I'm so happy to have sold my Kickr v5 a month ago and having decided to wait out for the Victory. Can't wait already, a victory it will be, so excited!

    8. As always you have done a great job.
I'm one of those Kickr owners that bought the Play controllers thinking it was going to be compatible "any day now". I will be ordering this.

    9. While there are some things that the Victory does better than other trainers, it not really fair to claim that the Victory does everything better than the competition. For example, my Tacx Neo 2T can simulate a 25% grade with <1% accuracy. Seems like the Victory may be better for Zwift's synthetic gamer world, it doesn't seem like the best choice for apps that work to simulate the real world, like Rouvy.

    10. Their prices don't make sense. Here in Canada it's $799 cdn. Using online currency converter it should be $585 cdn from the $399 usd. Heck, nothing against Aussies but it's always been a lesser $ amount for Canadians when compared to Australian price but it's the opposite now.

Aside from that, amazing work as always, I hope this shakes up the tree a bit so that other brands adjust their offerings and pricing.

    11. Sounds like, “It’s a very good option.” On the volume question, the way to bankruptcy is to gear up for the initial surge, then have demand fall off. I hope not.

    12. I am very disappointed to see that it's $399USD but $799CAD. If I do the conversion $399USD should be $544CAD, A far cry from the $799 they want to charge Canadians for it.

I hope they correct that price in the coming months. I can hop across the border and pick one up from my box in the states, but not all of us are close enough to do that.

    13. Any comments on flywheel noise in comparison to Kickr v6 ? Wahoo is known for issues with unbalanced flywheel or knocking sound…

    14. Great to see, hopefully they also get in touch with alternative plattforms other than zwift. More competition would be necessary in that part of the home cycling marketing, too.

    15. As someone who has been let down by Wahoo and therefore not a trainer user for almost 12 months, this is fantastic news. I’ve just started getting the urge to buy a new one and really didn’t want to go back down the same old routes. Thanks!

    16. I went to jet black website and it doesn’t give specifics but will it work with a 135mm with a thru axel. I have a 2016 specialized diverge.

    17. thanks shane as always for you insight. i look forward to your reports from week to week. so the jetblack ride quality…would it be accurate to say that its on par with the wahoo kickr core? i think the heavier flywheel of the wahoo v6 feels better that the core. assume that the jetblack victory feels like the core unit?
