    1. Anything at Maryland Mountain in Black Hawk. They’re great professionally built trails ranging from beginner to double black scary.

    2. Any thing off the monarch crest.

Rode cottonwood for the first time a weeks ago and thought it was pretty stellar.

Doctor park has to be up there as well.

    3. I like XC/flow, not into downhill.

Betasso for accessibility (live in Boulder). Good balance of relaxed flow, challenging features, climbs/descents aren’t too short or long, and many different ways to get there. Directional trails mean you don’t have to worry as much about other riders around, even if it’s crowded.

Lower section of Picture Rock (below the rusted out car) in Lyons is one of the most fun, relaxed descents I’ve ridden in the state. That is, if you can get a clean run bc it’s very popular/busy and bi-directional.

The Frisco Peninsula trails are relaxed and just plain fun, but not very exciting.

I had a great time on the Blue Sky Trail next to Devil’s Backbone near FoCo.
