Hi Reddit!
I just took off my tire to patch it and after I put the chain back on, the gears on the bike won't shift while riding. Did I put the chain on correctly? Any advice would help.
Looks correct. It might be that the small chain used to shift the hub gear is not tight enough or too tight?

The chain seems to be fitted correctly. The cables look a bit tangled up, try to move them a bit to make them as parallel as possible.
I’d also check if the cables are sitting properly at the shifter end.
In case you have issues with the hub gear, here’s a useful video on how to adjust them: https://youtu.be/X6RpE0u9FnA?si=yTrdVlpVTiQ2VIqn
Make sure you tighten the lock ring properly on the indicator chain.

The chain looks right. The little gears look off? Check the cable tension and check if it’s stuck.
