My do anything bike is a Fuji Feather (2015). I have, so far changed a few things: single speed gear, tires, pedals, saddle, seatpost, tape and brake levers. And I wonder if it's worth upgrading to a different bike (thinking something like a Wabi Thunder or a Bombtrack Arise, just some examples) or to upgrade the last few bits.
I find that frame is a bit limited. It struggled to keep up with some Marathons 700×28 and I don't know which options I have for fenders that could do the trick (I had previously some cheap ones that you could attach to any frame but I wasn't the biggest fan of them, they felt very fragile). Hence the doubts.
I would love to toss in some mudguards (I live in a rainy country now) and perhaps upgrade the bb, headset and wheels as they break down (if ever). My main objective is to make it more comfortable to use regardless of the surface (crawled thru some singletracks on this already) or weather, and more reliable (less maintenance if possible).
So, what would you recommend?
