I've already put all the tension up. But I can't skid in clipless. I feel that I don't have the same stopping power. I'm thinking of 3 options. 1), putting a front brake :_(
    2) going back to straps
    3) keep trying 0

I’d just go back to straps. Sounds like you have a tendency to twist your feet a bit from being used to how you got used to your straps gripping your feet. I had the same issue when I went clipless. I don’t trust em for skids

Haha that’s crazy, I had the opposite experience. I rode straps and clips+straps for years before trying clipless, and even on a tougher ratio I found SPDs to be noticeably easier to stop in.

I had way more confidence skidding with straps, as opposed to clipless, even when I cranked up the tension. For long distances and just pure enjoyment of riding, clipless is better. I just wound up skidding less and worked more on controlling my flow.

    4. If your gnna ride straps on a bike like that ride leather real double straps .. leave that Velcro bs to the pk rippers and other trick 700 cmx type joints
