Got a bike off marketplace for a great deal. (S&M BTM . With this wheel. Oddy vandero II front wheel, colony stem and cranks 11" shadow bars for 350)
It's LHD so figured I'd just sell it off and get some money back , as I already had wheels I planned to use anyway.
Posted for 120 $ and woke up to 30 replies. So I was like hrmmmm.
One person asked about the axle, and how in the world is that possible ..
I had kind of wondered the same thing when taking it off because one side appears tocbe female and one side is male???
I'd taken it off a few different times to try diff tires and it tightens down no issue. So i figured it must just be how these are. (Profile mini hub cassette) …
But now… not so sure? What's up with this thing? Anybody ever see something like this?

Axle is male and female
It’s been custom modified as profile don’t make this axle as stock item. The male axle has been cut down and had a tap run down it for a female bolt basically.
Yeah I can’t remember who made them but I can remember that years ago you could get a conversion kit to make your axle male on the peg side and female on the drive side but I’ve got a feeling the someone has cut down a 14mm male axle and the drilled it out to fit a 10mm female axle bolt in the end of it as I’ve seen videos on YouTube of people doing it to their bsd revolution hub because they don’t make them with female axles!
