I have taken this technique a step further. I adapt my packrafts so I can sleep in them on the water. The bigger kayak on the right of the image sleeps two and can fit in the Burley Travoy trailer. The hoops I use are not tent poles as they aren’t flexible enough I use polly tunnel hoops which are much cheeper. The longest I have lived on the camping kayak is six weeks.
