Which bike or bikes

To bring?
We are going to live at the NC coast for a month, I plan to bring my touring type bike with a rear rack for practical reasons (food, beer) and possibly longer rides. I could also bring a road bike more suitable for longer rides, but it is a little more trouble to bring and store when we are there. I'm leaning towards the one bike solution, it's only a month.
