The trek is disc, thru axle and will allow bigger tires.
That would get my vote.
Go for the disc brakes.
frame, bike en technology are more future proof
Yeah the disc version is more future proof, allows for bigger tires and for top tube bag and a third bottle cage
I for one would always go for discs cause I’m not the smallest person and i need disc brakes to not die
