Toulouse brings a Tour de France atmosphere to supertri, as the huge crowds that have become synonymous with the event over its first two editions line the course for one of the most spectacular circuits the sport has ever seen.
After a swim at Port de la Daurade, the athletes jump on the bike and tackle one of the most technical and demanding courses going. Cobblestones, sharp climbs, fast and windy descents and a river front section produce dramatic outcomes.
It is not enough to purely go full gas from the start, athletes also have to be able to handle the supremely technical aspects of the course to be in with a shot of winning. Those who cannot find little mercy.
