Join me as I embark on a solo bike packing adventure from Copenhagen, Denmark, to Gothenburg, Sweden. This 200-mile journey through breathtaking Scandinavian landscapes tests my limits and gear. Watch as I navigate bike-friendly routes, unexpected challenges, and a relentless timeline

    1. I've done almost the same route (Malmo to Gothenburg) but as 400 miles of gravel. Swedish gravel is premium, you should have tried this! And: RIP Winston ;-(

    2. Hi, nice seeing you ride the roads I cycle every week. I even work near your last airbnb. Hope you enjoyed the sunny days!
Nice tattoos by the way! Keep on riding! /Magnus from Gothenburg/Sweden

    3. Northern Europe is awesome right? I just spent 10 days in the Netherlands and compared to the UK the dutch transport infra is immense – and compared to the US it must be colossal! Absolutely worth a visit Dustin it's just mindblowing. Oh yeah and watch out for yield/giveway signs – however in NL they are eye height so you cannot miss them!

    4. Hey Dustin! Did you know you can get stock on Harmon/wahoo etc mounts. You can just stick them to the back of a phone case and then you can use the same mount for your gps and phone .

    5. Re the integrated hoses on the new bike, might be worth looking into the Q-connector from Zeno. Promises tool-free in-line connecting/disconnecting for hydraulic brake lines with no need to bleed for multiple uses.

    6. Great video. I'm planning to build up a custom titanium mini-velo with couplers for travel, for the simple reason that travelling with a full sized bike in a bike box is so bloody inconvenient if you have to do any vehicle travel on either end (not to mention the inconvenience of booking travel with a bike and dealing with oversized luggage at the airport). I'm going with a 20" mini-velo rather than a 700c sized bike so that I can fit it in a standard sized suitcase rather than one of those square breakway cases. Definitely going full external for the cabling on it, too, since internal routing would be an absolute nightmare for a bike that needs to be broken down / reassembled as quickly as possible. I'm used to riding on 20" wheels since my backup commuter is a 20" folding bike, so I'm not worried about the different ride quality with the small wheels, either.

    7. 30c max? Thats a gravel bike already and with rim brakes? You're unstoppable. I wish I can fit those panaracer gravelkings 28c on my road bike.

    8. You can request all you want from your government, unfortunately they care more about their money then your personal safety. Im lucky yo live in Holland and we have the sake amazing bicycle infastructure

    9. Oh No, Winston 😢 So sorry for your loss, please pass on our condolences to Mama Winston too. We lost both of our beloveds in just 10 months last year – life's not as full now. Courage. 💔
