This might help you Andy. I bought an old 2011 Apple Airbook for less than 100 Euro and installed ChromiumOS from Google. It works very well and I take it with me on multi week tours – I do all my internet stuff on it, editing and backing up sd cards to the cloud etc…
Using the phone is working very well. Thumbs up for Chromebooks, more like a giant phone in some ways but never having to do back ups is a win win for me; Home you manage to film your mystery destination.
Some strange letterboxing on this video Andy? I recommend Kdenlive – a free video editor. Quite advanced, but very capable and I know you'll be able to get your head around it with tutorials on Youtube.

Thanks Andy. I enjoyed your 200km. Editing seemed to have gone well!
