I’m working on practicing it in the seated position, and trying to stay more calm. I feel like I’m a lot more stable in this video than my last post, but as you can see I’m still a bit shaky, however this takes a bit of endurance! After a while the muscles start to fatigue, but I’m just working on trying to keep calm and still, not so worried about how long I can go now

Ok I listened to you guys

  1. Nice – track stands of any kind get a lot less physically demanding as you develop better muscle memory for them since you won’t have to make as many big corrections. Just keep putting a bit of time in every day and you’ll be rock solid before long.

P.S. Personally I stay fully out of my straps while practicing – obviously you want to be able to stay in them when doing it normally, but I find you can commit harder to staying up if you don’t have to worry about getting out of your straps when it goes south on you, plus you’re a bit less likely to get hurt (which puts a damper on your practice sessions). Whatever works for you is fine, but I think a lot of people assume staying in straps makes for better practice, which isn’t always the case.

Keep it up my man. You got this.

Just need to repeat now so it hits the subconscious.

Another fun one to help get you on lock is turn the bars 90* while seated foot either side on the tire scuffing to keep balance.

Carpet is worse than wind since you can’t control the wind like riding through grass with resistance. Wind resistance is a shortcut to ultimate balance if you can get with scrambling all over the place under wraps. Good luck. Looks good
