  1. From Canada, I ride a BMC Teammachine. Cannot say I see a whole lot of them riding around.

    Most common bikes, anecdotally, are SL7/8s, Emondas and Madones. 🤷

  2. I have 50-34 / 11-34 and I love the 34-34 on climbs. I rarely spin out in 50-11 and don't care if I do, just tuck in and enjoy the downhill. So yea, 11-32 is pretty useless, we aren't in the 80s anymore with 120 psi 21mm tires and 8-26 cassettes or whatnot.

  5. Food for thought. I’d like to watch a Nero Show segment on the kind of “stealthy” Italian brands. Sarto, Basso etc. Not the industry standard Pinarello, Colonago, Bianchi etc.

    Look,Time and Wilier’ ~ What are they offering. what are the challenges to stay current and possibly surpass Pinarello? To me, Sarto has the looks of an SL7 Tarmac~

My wife loves her arm strap for the HR, she always hated the chest strap types that were part of her sports bra and really hated the chest strap by itself, but once she tried the arm strap, she was very happy. My chest strap died on me and I was waiting for my replacement to ship, so I used it….. I canceled my order and bought arm strap. It is fantastic. You can even wear them on your thigh if you want, its very accurate

  7. Love the show guys, but a. technical correction for you Jesse, there is no customs duty on whole bikes imported into Australia. Also if a business is importing bikes into Australia as trading stock, they'll get a full credit for the import GST, so that's not a cost either. Happy to point you to the law if you like.

  8. I bought a Factor Ostro V1 from the Australian distributor. I picked the spec via their website then they contacted me and arranged a time for a bike fit to make sure the frame size, seat post offset and stem length were right before I could actually order it. I’m Melbourne based.

  9. You should go check out Niklas Behrens Strava. He's still uploading with all data visible. You'll be certainly interested in his watts, it's beyond ridiculous 😂 He's like 85kg and nuked his way over the climbs at the worlds while all the 55kg featherweight climbers completely cracked 💣He averaged 420w 446NP at the ITT worlds the days before for 38 minutes also.

  10. Israel premier tech have had a great year for performance, particularly early. Surpassed teams like EF, Jayco and Movistar on the UCI rankings. Don't know how you can call them a 'joke'.

  11. Spot on summary of sooky Remco. With the legs he had, if he and MvDP followed Pog, all that happens is the three of them ride together for another lap or two while their teams sit in the peloton doing nothing, then pog drops them and goes solo anyway.

  12. So based on the interview, Pogacar's max heart rate is about 238 bpm. His FTP at the very least is about 453 W which equates to about 6.9 w/kg.

    Do people really believe that stuff?

  13. I cross shopped the SL8 and Ostro V2 for a couple months before settling on the Ostro in August. I am sure the SL8 would have been just as nice (if not better) but for the same price as an SL8 Pro (not S-Works) I could customize everything on the Factor (group-set, crank-length, wheel-set, bar width, paint, etc.). The other huge selling point on the Factor is that I could test ride one on a trip to LA from the Rapha bike shop. Riding that Ostro through the Santa Monica Mountain Canyons sold me on it more than anything else!

    Regarding the downtube flexing, my Cervelo TT does the same (and it is not even light), I had never noticed it before, so I don't consider it an issue.

  15. I understand your view on Lachlan but what about Jay Vine. He’s an ex team mate but I assume a friend first. Why no mention about his top 5 in the ITT & gold in the mixed team relay? Also when talking about interviewing a pro rider, Chris wanted the goss but Jesse mentioned about insights to the pro tour & training. The interview with Jay a few years ago was great & should have been mentioned for new viewers to look up.

  16. First, i havent watched the vid yet, but i did see the 8-9k price tag for BMC's new frame…can we all boycott BMC until they go out of business now? It reeks similar to Felts stupidity when they raised their top of the line bike builds to 16k because they sponsored Human Power Health. Now that they dont sponsor anyone, their prices have dropped to "normal"

    I see Chinese bike brands making a LOT of money real soon if these idiots dont get their shit together regarding the massive inflation relative to cost.
