Cyclocross is here with our first race of the season in Stanmer Park, Brighton, for the first round of the London League here in Brighton for round one of the season for the first league race in Brighton.
Sorry for the delay in getting this out, we’ve had a huge backlog of editing to do for actual jobs, but we are now on top of things at least for the moment which does have us wondering whether we should (or can) continue working on these little race vlogs, or at least how often. We haven’t film our subsequent three races (three podiums for honor but three DNFs for theo.. so maybe just as well) but have filmed round four of the London League at Crystal Palace which we should hopefully have out next week. Like the video if you’d like to see more 🙂
Thanks to VC Jubilee, Brighton Excelsior and the London & South East CX league for organising!

Cross is back, I'm back to watching videos. I love watching cross racing because I can't get to them myself. If you want to keep doing these vids then do them, I'll watch!
Really love these videos, tbh I don't mind the delay in content release
Thanks for uploading these videos! Besides the novelty of seeing myself on camera occasionally (for form/souplesse more than anything else), as someone who is still seeing courses for the first time the onboard camera footage – plus spectator shots of notable tricky sections (e.g. Big Bob) – is super helpful in getting a heads up on what a venue will be like.
For me, this is the main reason I watch your videos – to get some insight on the course from previous years.
I think what you guys do is of real value to the community as a whole for this reason, and the videos are shot and edited so beautifully that they deserve to be seen by more people – maybe there's a way you could work more closely with the league to build up a library of different venues over time and have them promoted on the tech manual each round in future years (a bit like Puck Pieterse's course recons).
I'd be interested to know if other racers (especially juniors!) and use these videos in the same way. Keep up the amazing work 🙏🙏
My daughter races in the same league, albeit the much reduced courses for Under 10's but it's still really great to see onboard footage of the course she has rode that week.
Great also seeing footage of those riders who are so technically gifted as it showcases CX as a sport.
And honor mentioned helping to promote the ladies side of racing which is so important. As far as it has undoubtedly come, there's still loooads more needed. Lola regularly races in under 10's with about 20 boys and sometimes only 2 other girls. 😢
Finally I love how your vids also highlight the community vibe at each race. As lets face it 95% of the folk at these races are amazingly supportive of ALL the competitors and super friendly.
Please don't stop doing this 😆
Probably my fav part of the videos is the chatter on pre race nerves and post race highs.
Also to see other parts of the country what the courses are like.
We love cross videos, please don't stop making them 🥹
Kisham so so smooth, gg to both of you. Yessss love the vids. If you just did race footage then afters we’ll take that as an audience.
Keep the videos! Great results both!
I love the videos! I'm not even from the UK, but these give me motivation to wake up for those 9am cross races.
Great film….. enjoy the insight and glimpse of what it’s like to be nearer the front in these races. Interesting how the technique and skill starts to be a real decider over the fitness… I’ve found that even back in the twenty’s and thirty’s, losing places on corners and hurdles … need more practice obvs. Keep up the filming if you’ve the time and motivation!!
Really enjoy your videos 😊
There’s quite a few people doing crit race videos but not many doing cross race ones. It’s nice to get a rider’s eye view of the race. Please continue with them.
Keep up the great work! There can never been enough cyclocross videos soooo please keep them coming 🙂
Your videos kept me motivated to get back to CX last fall when I spent the autumn on the couch because of injury.
