Looking at buying this bike as my first road bike. The seller says it’s a ‘21. The way the cables are routed I think it’s a little older.
Going to start competing in triathalons. Seller and I are at $1500 for it. He says it's been ridden less than 10 times. Also looking for thoughts on the value and condition. And since it has H2 frame geometry instead of H1 if that makes a difference for racing. The stack looks kind of tall. Thanks in advance

Definitely previous Gen, with the bottom bracket that goes out of round and then you’re hooped. H2 is really really mellow geometry, which is either a very good or very bad thing, depending on your fit.

Get the serial number of the bike, either down tube or under bottom bracket. Calk Trek, they can give the original specs.
