Picked up some Dillinger 4s after this. I wanted the Dillinger 5s but they wouldn’t fit on my pugsley. Studs make all the difference on the icecoast!

Ain’t it good to be a gangsta. Can’t wait till I can use mine.
I resisted studding my fatbike tires for a couple of seasons arguing that I don’t ride in icy conditions, etc. and that they wouldn’t be worth the hassle and cost. After a weird freeze-thaw season last year, I broke down and fully studded both front and rear and boy can you tell the difference. I will never go back to unstudded for winter riding. I’m kicking myself for missing out on some fun spring riding too. Studs are good for not just safety, but also confidence as well and extending your season into the spring when it’s just slush and ice left to ride.
