    1. Yes you do. Those are good hubs.

      Alternatively can fit six 9 speed cogs on them as well. A cassette like a SRAM PG-970 can be taken apart down to individual cogs so you be selective on what gears you want.

      One for going up hills and one for going down hills. Then later you can build one up for flat rides.

      I feel you… I have a WI eccentric that’s been sitting and also some arch ex rims, but I just felt the combo wasn’t right. Now after seeing an earlier post, I have cliffhanger rims on my mind.

      I already have a wheel set of Surly new hubs with 650b Laserdisc rims that I love, but those cliffhangers with msw rims are very enticing and I feel I will be ordering them soon. I also need some double butted spokes of the appropriate length

    4. One freewheeled, and one ridged. But then there’s a fixed gear with a squish fork…
