    2. Yes. I mean, I would gladly pay $300 if it fit me. It’s a great looking (and somewhat unusual) bike with very nice components. It’s clean as hell too.

      Many people here have this dumpster treasure mindset, where an old mtb is only good value if you got it for $9 and built it up with parts bin pieces. A lot of that feels unrealistic to me. Like, great that you got an excellent deal, but I’m somewhat scrupulous about keeping an eye on the used market in central Texas and that posting you put up would immediately have me talking to my wife about adding another bike.

    3. I would **definitely** spend 300$ on a bicycle like this in this condition. I would say in Germany a fair price is between 300€-650€.

      I think the price is fair, especially for it’s condition, I would be very paranoid about scratching such a lovely bike if I owned it.
